Getting here
Our centre is situated on Church Road, Caerau. This is easily accessed via Cowbridge Road West (A48). If you are travelling from Culverhouse Cross on Cowbridge Road West, take the second right after B&Q marked Heol Trelai. After about 1 km take a right turn when you see the Home Guard Club on to Church Road. Continue passed the Post Office and the site and Heritage Centre are on your right-hand side.
Bus
The site is a short walk (2 minutes) from several of the bus stops on Heol Trelai (e.g. Prendergast Place). This is serviced by numbers 15, 17 and 18 buses which run a circular route leaving and returning to Cardiff city centre (Westgate Street). Buses run every 5-10 minutes between 5.15am and 11:10pm.
Opening times
The centre is open Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm. Please note that community sessions take place through out the week and may affect what areas of the building are accessible.
Facilities
The centre is set back from the main road and is up a bit of the hill. Accessible entrance is available via the bottom end of the play area. This gate is sometimes locked by the council but staff at the centre can open it if needed.
Our centre has accessible toilets, baby changing facilities and a kitchen. The centre often hosts community groups so please bear in mind that there may be sessions running throughout the week.
Unfortunately we cannot offer parking at the site. On road parking is permitted but we ask that you be considerate to local residents.
