Family Fun Day
Join us for a Family Fun Day at CAER Heritage Excavation. Where you can tour the site, take part in the dig or have fun on one of the stalls set up around the site! Games, Art and crafts and more!
CAER Dig
This summer CAER Heritage along with Cardiff University, local Community members, schools and archaeology enthusiasts will be getting together to dig in Parc Terlai, Ely. This excavation will start on the 20th of June and will end on the 15th of July. Please email CAERheritage@aceplace.org if you are interested in getting involved.
SPAB Working Party
CAER Heritage and the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) will be hosting a working party at St Fagans Museum where they will be making lime mortar in the museum’s working kiln.
The intention is to use this mortar to repoint St. Mary’s Church at the top of the Caerau Hillfort. Drop by the museum to see what we’re up to!
